How long is The Sonic Ritual?
The Sonic Ritual typically runs around 45 minutes but can be tailored to specific events.
Should I wear earplugs to The Sonic Ritual?
We recommend bringing ear plugs to any show to be prepared to protect your hearing. The Sonic Ritual will range in volume and intensity from soft to loud so be prepared to pop in the plugs when we turn up the heat.
In what way is The Sonic Ritual a communal experience? Will I be asked to participate?
Yes! We ask you to participate in the communal energy in 3 ways:
1. Your Presence
•Just be here. Your presence in the room is a powerful force and we’re glad you’re here.
2. Set a Personal Intention
•When you enter the space for The Sonic Ritual, we invite you to decide on a personal intention. It could be something simple and short term like “I want to relax and enjoy myself tonight” or it could be related to a specific goal you’ve been working at.
•It’s important to choose something personal. Why? This goes back to Gandhi’s philosophy of “Be the Change You Want To See”. We all DO have the power to change the world, and it starts within.
•You will receive a program that has a QR code you can scan to write down your intention (you can share your name or keep it anonymous). We will be gathering everyone’s intentions to integrate into a future Wishing Tree, a physical sculptural item that will travel with us to each Sonic Ritual.
3. Group Hum and Breathing
•We will be inviting everyone to join us in a group hum and a breathing exercise. This will energize each of us individually and activate the community energy.
